Donatello School of Nursing and Healthcare (DSNH) wants to prepare learners to become critical thinkers, effective communicators, and responsible nurses and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by providing an academically challenging, and values-based curriculum. The Practical Nursing Program was created to prepare the students to join the healthcare team, to educate the students on how to deliver quality care to the patient, to provide the conceptual knowledge and clinical instruction necessary, and to prepare students to provide nursing care in assisted living facilities, hospices, physicians' offices, hospitals, and home healthcare.

This program can be taken separately or in conjunction with the Nursing Assistant/HHA Program. Students will learn the basics of the home health care industry, communication skills, understanding client’s needs and reporting, observation, and recording client information.
